            Bug ID: 257691
           Summary: Resync web-platform-tests/svg from upstream
           Product: WebKit
           Version: Safari Technology Preview
          Hardware: Unspecified
                OS: Unspecified
            Status: NEW
          Severity: Normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: SVG
          Assignee: webkit-unassigned at lists.webkit.org
          Reporter: ahmad.saleem792 at gmail.com
CC: sabouhallawa at apple.com, zimmermann at kde.org

Hi Team,

I think it would be good to get all 'SVG' test upstream, reason why?

When I fix bug 139258 locally, it leads to failing following tests in WebKit Repo:

but it regresses following:

imported/w3c/web-platform-tests/svg/styling/presentation-attributes-irrelevant.html
imported/w3c/web-platform-tests/svg/styling/presentation-attributes-relevant.html
imported/w3c/web-platform-tests/svg/styling/presentation-attributes-unknown.html

With following failing:

dominant-baseline presentation attribute supported on a irrelevant element
dominant-baseline presentation attribute supported on a relevant element
dominant-baseline presentation attribute supported on an unknown SVG element

^^ But when I run them via WPT using Minibrowser, we don't have these regression, so these are just false positive due to SVG test being outdated.

Plus, we have SVG imported - manual tests as well, which either are removed now or updated to be automated.

___________

Unfortunately, my git setup is super weird and bad, so I hope someone else can help and do it for me and for future WebKit Contributors.

Thanks!
