This is mostly the same as bug #144264, but 8 years into the future, on Wayland on Linux, and the symptoms are much more pronounced, so I was told to report it separately.

* It's extremely jittery
* It's extremely slow (it "feels" slow on a graphics standpoint)
* It is decoupled from the mouse cursor, you basically have to do 3x the distance / three attempts to position it to where you want.
