            Bug ID: 266709
Summary: Scrolling on a webpage fires pointerup event
           Product: WebKit
           Version: Safari 17
          Hardware: Mac (Apple Silicon)
                OS: macOS 14
            Status: NEW
          Severity: Normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: UI Events
          Assignee: webkit-unassigned at lists.webkit.org
          Reporter: hollows_nutmeg0r at icloud.com

If you add a pointerup listener to the document.

If you left click on the document and then use the scrollwheel at the same time.

The pointerup event is fired.

This makes it hard to implement drag and drop where the user needs to scroll up or down through the document.
