Improved with 43.0-2-gb3e35dced / WebKitGTK 2.39.0 (254586 at main). At least, after selecting the first photo, and navigate through them to the right, it started to stutter in the four photo. When moving back, stutter but is less annoying as in previous versions (now it takes some seconds).
