Milan Crha, a developer/maintainer of Evolution, suggested that it could be useful for me to post at least the top of the webkit://gpu information from the MiniBrowser. So it's incorporated below. It seems as though webkitgtk has the correct information for every characteristic shown, which makes the display issues shown above appear to me to be more like a bug than misconfiguration, especially given that other browsers are fine. Thanks for your thoughts/help.
