All browsers differ from each other on the attached test case:

*** Safari 15.6 on macOS 12.5 ***

It shows 5 square dots.

*** Firefox Nightly 104 ****

4 circle dots

*** Chrome Canary 106 ***

5 circle dots

I am not clear on Web-spec and since all browsers are different, I am not sure which one to follow here. Thanks!
