Safari 15.5 is slower than other browsers

I am able to reproduce this bug in Safari 15.5 on macOS based on attached test case. As shown in the attached screenshot, Safari is slowest among other browsers.

I think improving performance or matching to competitors would be ideal here. Thanks!
