Bug ID: 236420
Summary: Bluetooth headset mic not most times not working in
meet.google.com (works in chrome 100% of the time)
Product: WebKit
Version: Safari 15
Hardware: Unspecified
URL: http://meet.google.com
OS: Unspecified
Status: NEW
Severity: Normal
Priority: P2
Component: WebCore Misc.
Assignee: webkit-unassigned at lists.webkit.org
Reporter: martemas at gmail.com
After allowing audio/video when going into google meet, I can hear everyone else, but they cannot hear me. This happens A LOT to the point where I stopped using Safari and use Chrome browser as it works 100% of the time.
Definitely not Mac issue, I think to do with how Safari picks up which microphone to use. Usually happens from one hangout to another, the second session doesn't pick up the microphone for some reasons. No changes to hardware, wearing the same headphone and same setup.
Started happening more with M1 Apple MacBook, but happens prior but not as bad on Intel Apple Macbook Pro 16". Both with latest Monterey OS.
Hardware:
QC35
M1 Apple MacBook Pro 13"
