Here, you can see a song playing, and on the media player, the part where it should show the cover is empty, rather than showing the cover.

Hello

This is a relatively new and recent bug ( about a month or so old ). The problem is the when playing something, the image cover just empty in the media player. It's greyed out, rather than displaying the proper cover of the media being played. For instance, on the Spotify web player, when you play a song, the media player's cover shows what it usually would show when nothing is playing. An empty square.

Steps to reproduce:

1. I used Spotify for this, so first go to " open.spotify.com " ( you will need a spotify account for this to work. if you have none, or aren't logged in, then click the 3 lines in the top right corner, and then press log in / sign up, depending on what you need to do to get an account )

2. Once you have an account, just find a song, any song, and play it.

3. Go on to another app, or stay in the homescreen / lockscreen / media player from the control center ( swipe down from the top ) with the tab playing in the background.

Actual results:
The media player displays the song title & artist name. It also has the image cover, but it's empty and doesn't show the image.

Expected results:
It has two pieces of information displayed correctly ( titles & artist) , but it should also display the song cover instead of an empty image.

This issue isn't just with the Spotify web player, it's with anything that plays media in the web browser. The cover in the media player never shows up. It stays empty.

Build date and hardware:

The bug was first encountered sometime in December of 2022, on iOS 16.1.2

The cover used to be displayed just fine in the media player before, this is only recent, where the media player cover shows up as empty.
