This is odd, because it is now reproducible by nearly everybody. You can try our demo store here: https://warehouse-theme-metal.myshopify.com/

To reproduce the issue enter anything in the search bar, wait for the search results to show up and tap to click on one link. On Safari, instead of going to the link, it will simply disappear.

Make sure that you configure your trackpad with the "Tap to click" and that you do not do a hard click. You must just tap. If you do a "deeper" click (that triggers the force touch) it works.
