Recommendation for spec authors (https://html.spec.whatwg.org/multipage/webappapis.html#concept-current-everything) advises to prefer _relevant_ over _current_ and there are ongoing efforts to get rid of _inncumbent_ (https://github.com/whatwg/html/issues/1430) and _entry_ (https://github.com/whatwg/html/issues/1431) as much as possible.
