Steps to reproduce:
1. Open https://smartslider3.com/bugs/webkit/imglaterendering/
2. Click/tap on the right arrow

Expected result: The next image instantly "replaces" the current image

What's went wrong:
There is a few white frames after the image switches to the next one.

The white frames appear only if the rendering of the second image is not cached. So if you click the arrow multiple times, the change will be fine every latter change to that image. 
On iPad and iPhone, use new private window for every tests as it seems like there is a session wide image rendering cache and only the first change will cause this rendering error even if you refresh the page.


Able to reproduce on OSX Safari 14.1, iPhone 14.4.2,  iPad 14.5.1
