            Bug ID: 223036
           Summary: [GTK] Running Tools/gtk/install-dependencies installs
                    too many packages on Debian/Ubuntu
           Product: WebKit
           Version: WebKit Local Build
          Hardware: Unspecified
                OS: Unspecified
            Status: NEW
          Severity: Normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: Tools / Tests
          Assignee: webkit-unassigned at lists.webkit.org
          Reporter: aperez at igalia.com

This is because Debian and Ubuntu have the APT::Install-Recommends
setting as ”true” by default, which means packages which are *not*
strictly needed but recommended will be also pulled as dependencies
when installing packages.
