I cannot reproduce this. What version of iOS and macOS are you seeing this with? Can you try the latest beta?

In any case, this is almost certainly an issue in image decoding libraries below WebKit, and as such, it's better to report via https://feedbackassistant.apple.com for Apple engineers to take a look.

One way to confirm is to save the image and open it in Preview.app on a Mac. If tat fails too, that's definitely an underlying issue.
