I hooked my iPad up to my Mac to debug it with the Web Inspector. Although tapping  the images and videos didn't generate any console errors (though they still didn't work), tapping the Play button gave me this:

"[WARN] AudioPlayerService - togglePausePlay( Unknown State: PLAY )"
