On iOS 14.4.2 with Safari 14.0.3 I am as well recieving the error "UnknownError: Connection to Indexed Database server lost. Refresh the page to try again.".
It's a wide spread error for our users and we require a fix urgently!

We are consuming within a Crodova environment and error is coming randomly. Sometimes it seems to appear more frequently if you put the app into the background and then back to foreground again. But this might also be a wrong observation.

With iOS first versions of iOS 14 this popped up already.

Are there any known workarounds?
