            Bug ID: 219202
Summary: Transient quarter display with a HiDPI /4k screen and
                    a 200% scaling
           Product: WebKit
           Version: Other
          Hardware: PC
                OS: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: Normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: WebKitGTK
          Assignee: webkit-unassigned at lists.webkit.org
          Reporter: frederic.parrenin at univ-grenoble-alpes.fr
                CC: bugs-noreply at webkitgtk.org

I use epiphany on debian/bullseye XPS13 laptop with a 4k screen.
In gnome, I set the scaling to 200% so that everything does not appear too small.
In epiphany, I sometimes get a transient display where the webpage is displayed on the top-left quarter of the window.
Then, after a fraction of a second, the webpage is scaled to the entire window.
So, I was wondering if this is due to the scaling and if it would possible to scale the display earlier in the process.
