Could you please report this via <https://feedbackassistant.apple.com>? This may be a WebKit issue, but the Mail team should probably do initial investigation.

In the report, please provide detailed steps to reproduce. I personally haven't seen this issue.

Marking invalid for now, as we are not tracking this as a WebKit issue at this time.
