I had made the fix and tested that it works a while back. Unfortunately i went down the wrong path for the tests, and as Michael mentioned, adapting all the tests to make sure they function correctly is actually a significant job. I had started but never found time to finish. Still on my todo list but would be happy if someone beats me to it.
