This is what we suggested earlier in:

And you said in https://bugs.webkit.org/show_bug.cgi?id=213186#c21 that it had not helped.

I will let John review this but Safari does have stricter cookie policy than other browsers when "Prevent cross-site tracking" is on (which is the default).
