This is the single biggest missing feature from PWAs.  At the moment we have to package our apps using capacitor so we can use the native push api which adds layers of complexity to what would otherwise be a simple deployment.

Please webkit team, we as developers been begging for this feature for years, can you push your product managers to get this prioritised
