We currently using WebRTC libraries like Janus or simple-peer. With both libraries, Safari crashes during video calls. There are no error logs within the console, the page crashes and Safari reloads the page. Sometimes, Safari only shows an error page instead of reloading the page ("There was a problem with the page"). This issue exists since iOS 12. You can test it on pages like jerkay*com. Most of the time, Safari crashes after 5 video calls or sometimes already after the first one. We've also noticed that some crashes happen during renegotiation (camera switch).
