Bug ID: 203904
Summary: [GTK] Pull to refresh gesture
Product: WebKit
Version: WebKit Nightly Build
Hardware: Unspecified
OS: Unspecified
Status: NEW
Severity: Enhancement
Priority: P2
Component: WebKitGTK
Assignee: webkit-unassigned at lists.webkit.org
Reporter: alexm at gnome.org
CC: bugs-noreply at webkitgtk.org
See https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/epiphany/issues/801
Since we have back/forward swipes, would be nice to also have a similar refresh gesture by scrolling upwards from the top of the page.
I would need somebody to design visuals though.

Chrome uses a similar animation on desktop.
GMail on Android 4.4 or older: http://img.gawkerassets.com/img/18xt41svck5gggif/ku-xlarge.gif
Similarly, used throughout the OS, though IIRC Chrome didn't have it.

GMail on iOS: https://thenextweb.com/wp-content/blogs.dir/1/files/2012/12/refresh1.gif
Firefox doesn't seem to have it.
Not sure if we can have iOS-like animation or it violates that rubberbanding pattern as well.
