            Bug ID: 197882
Summary: [Pointer Events] Listening to a "pointerover",
                    "pointerenter", "pointerout" or "pointerleave" event
alone does not fire the event on iOS
           Product: WebKit
           Version: WebKit Nightly Build
          Hardware: Unspecified
                OS: Unspecified
            Status: NEW
          Severity: Normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: UI Events
          Assignee: webkit-unassigned at lists.webkit.org
          Reporter: graouts at apple.com

We only fire pointer events on iOS if there is a "pointerdown", "pointermove" or "pointerup" event registered. This is not enough.
