                    becomes invisible
           Product: WebKit
           Version: Safari Technology Preview
          Hardware: Macintosh
                OS: macOS 10.14
            Status: NEW
          Severity: Normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: Layout and Rendering
          Assignee: webkit-unassigned at lists.webkit.org
          Reporter: jonastreub at me.com
                CC: bfulgham at webkit.org, simon.fraser at apple.com,
                    zalan at apple.com

Overview:

When a parent and child have the same translucent background color, the child layer is not rendered.

1) View the example: https://codepen.io/jonastreub/pen/YbzrZE

2) Notice that you see only a single element.

Expected Results: Seeing both the parent and child element.
