We have been struggling with this problem on our WKWebview based app which has local sync database. The error is resulting in the loss of customer's data so is pretty serious for us, we have tried trapping it and reconnecting to the IndexedDb but this does not seem to resolve the issue. The only way currently to move on is to completely reload the webview but doing this means we are loosing the state that needs to be saved to IndexedDb. Many of our users use older iOS devices so it needs to be a iOS 12 fix for us, otherwise we will have to inform a large number of our users that due to a iOS 12 bug we can no longer support their device!
