            Bug ID: 193281
Summary: PDF content disappears and turns grey in WKWebView
after view controller switching on iOS 12
           Product: WebKit
           Version: Other
          Hardware: iPhone / iPad
                OS: iOS 12
            Status: NEW
          Severity: Normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: PDF
          Assignee: webkit-unassigned at lists.webkit.org
          Reporter: jdarcangelo at mozilla.com

If you load a PDF in a WKWebView on iOS 12, it will display and everything works as expected until you switch view controllers. Upon returning to the view controller with the WKWebView, the PDF content will disappear and turn grey, however, the scrolling and page counter will still be present even though the PDF content is not.

We are experiencing this bug in Firefox for iOS on iOS 12, but this Stack Overflow post is also describing our exact issue:
