We already changed the time pitch algorithm from AVAudioTimePitchAlgorithmTimeDomain to AVAudioTimePitchAlgorithmSpectral in bug #142280 / http://trac.webkit.org/changeset/181006. What you're asking for is for either Spectral to be better, or for a third even higher-quality option.
