You have a thread full of people, me including, who do need to talk to local software. With clear root CA risk that it leads to. You have the bug, the use cases and the risk of current solution. Yet you fail to see them and somehow conclude for made up reason that "those are not worthy"?

Not something i would expect from people dealing with web standards.
