The log is pretty hard to read due to terminal control codes, but anywhere, here it is, attached.

The exact error seems to differ:

 * Sometimes, the video is just a gray circle on a while background
 * Sometimes, the video switches rapidly between the gray/white background and the actual video
 * Sometimes, the video "flashes" (screencast attached to demonstrate)

This is all a quite recent regression: everything was fine as recently as last week. So I'm pretty sure the 2.21.5 release is to blame. But of course it could also be a very recent regression in GStreamer.
