--- Comment #1 from RĂ¼diger Cordes <rc at opelgt.org> ---
Not only on my 40" 4k-monitor I dont want to count the pixel on the upper half of the PDF DIN A4 page, I want to see the whole page - automatically as default. This is the reason why I have a big monitor! And portrait mode is not the way I have my monitor standing on my desk. And I do not want to change my monitor stand to match Safaris way of displaying PDFs.
And because I use Safari for my daily work I am surely not willing to spend half an hour a day to change the display mode to full page, because I am using many PDFs a day.
This is the reason I chose P2 instead of P1. I can not understand why this behaviour can be in Safari after 10.7.5 the last 6 years. It was the reason I made no update until now.
