Graphic drivers look ok indeed.
I wonder if the cause of the gray/empty view can be the WebKitWebProcess crashing for some reason? can you check if a process named WebKitWebProcess disappears when some of that errors happen? And if that is the case can you try to generate a coredump and a backtrace? Check here some help about how to do that: https://trac.webkit.org/wiki/WebKitGTK/Debugging#Gettingabacktracefromacoredump
