Bug ID: 193014
Summary: [GTK] Webkit occasionally deletes all text from an
input field when using "select all".
Product: WebKit
Version: Other
Hardware: PC
OS: Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: Normal
Priority: P2
Component: WebKit Gtk
Assignee: webkit-unassigned at lists.webkit.org
Reporter: rfarmer84 at outlook.com
CC: bugs-noreply at webkitgtk.org
WebkitGTK+ browsers occasionally delete all text from an input field when using "select all". First it selects all of the text and then it wipes it all out.
It doesn't always or even usually happen. It's seemingly random, but happens often enough that it can strike 2 or 3 times over a couple of days.
So far, this one has bitten me on Reddit, Riot.im, and the Webkit Bugzilla.
Seems to happen under Wayland and X11.
Using WebkitGTK+ 2.22.5 on Fedora 29 and Epiphany 3.30.2.
