            Bug ID: 189020
Summary: Allow removal of white backgrounds for Gnome (WebKit
                    GTK+)
           Product: WebKit
           Version: Other
          Hardware: Unspecified
                OS: Unspecified
            Status: NEW
          Severity: Normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: WebKit Gtk
          Assignee: webkit-unassigned at lists.webkit.org
          Reporter: mrjohncummings at gmail.com
                CC: bugs-noreply at webkitgtk.org

It would be really great if the Gnome version could also allow removal of transparent backgrounds which was recently enabled for OSX (Bug 187574). This would allow users of Gnome to have a dark mode as well I believe?

Thanks
