Bug ID: 178040
Summary: HTML5 Media Elements (<audio>/<video>) do not work if
JavaScript is disabled
Product: WebKit
Version: WebKit Nightly Build
Hardware: Unspecified
OS: Unspecified
Status: NEW
Severity: Normal
Priority: P2
Component: Media Elements
Assignee: webkit-unassigned at lists.webkit.org
Reporter: jcraig at apple.com
Disable JavaScript and load this page:
https://www.w3.org/2010/05/video/mediaevents.html
No way to play the video. Videos should be playable by the user even if JavaScript is disabled. (Disabling JavaScript in the tab should not disable it in the <video> element's shadow DOM)
