            Bug ID: 180003
Summary: https access via chained proxy times out or hangs
                    forever
           Product: WebKit
           Version: Safari 11
          Hardware: Unspecified
                OS: Unspecified
            Status: NEW
          Severity: Normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: Page Loading
          Assignee: webkit-unassigned at lists.webkit.org
          Reporter: devzero at web.de
                CC: beidson at apple.com

We have problems accessing https sites behind a chained proxy server.

While we are not yet sure the problem is not also related to Apache TrafficServer itself (which is the next hop proxy), at least it is a problem which only happens on recent OSX and iOS platforms, so maybe the problem is hidden in WebKit itself. All other browsers (Firefox, Chrome, Opera on OSX, IE on Windows , curl/wget/http commandline clients)not based on webkit work without probems.

At least we have no clue how to debug this further. We can send tcpdumps on request.
