Bug ID: 173917
Summary: Text inputs remove leading zeros from Autofill phone
numbers
Product: WebKit
Version: Safari 10
Hardware: Macintosh
OS: macOS 10.12
Status: NEW
Severity: Normal
Priority: P2
Component: Forms
Assignee: webkit-unassigned at lists.webkit.org

Example of leading zero issue
An input of type text or tel has the leading 0 removed when autofilling a telephone number. This only appears to happen for the first 2 telephone number fields in a form - if there's subsequent telephone fields in the form then the leading 0 is not removed. This also happens in iOS Safari. Example screengrab attached.
