I don't think this is related to the issue that I had. From that screenshot I can see that most of the GMail's UI is rendered corectly. For me I got only text and some links. The cause for me was that I used cmake's RelWithDebInfo build target and it was not passing some compiler flags. But it was fine with Release and Debug.
