IIRC that instructions were added by Mario. Adding him to the CC.

Also, this issue seems to be a bug on Ubuntu and not on WebKit.


I have been cross-building for ARM with other tools (Yocto/OpenEmbedded and Buildroot) for years without problem.


Regarding the ruby dependency: it is needed only at build-time. It is not needed at run-time. The JavaScriptCore code has several ruby script that are used to generate assembly code at build-time.
