The qtdemux patch added on bug 157341 has finally evolved and approved in GStreamer bugzilla[1]. This patch should finally be available on GStreamer 1.12, but by now the custom jhbuild patch should be updated and the "always-honor-tfdt" property shouldn't be used anymore in AppendPipeline.
