I could not reproduce this on OS X 10.9.4 with nightly r173638. I browsed macobserver.com for a few minutes.

So you have any Safari extensions installed? Does this still happen if you disable them?

Could you please confirm whether it is Unknown or Untitled? The latter name is a bit of a telltale, although that wouldn't quite explain what happened yet.
