Hey,

KeyboarEvent.key is supported by Firefox and IE (and there are works on adding it to Blink - https://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=263724). Also, it's been at least 3 years since this property was added to the spec.

Do you plan to work on implementing it?
