Summary: use of PDF files in <img src=test.pdf> randomly
                    display white or incomplete PDF
           Product: WebKit
           Version: 528+ (Nightly build)
          Platform: Macintosh Intel
               URL: http://www.noma.fr/test/index.html
        OS/Version: Mac OS X 10.9
            Status: NEW
          Severity: Major
          Priority: P3
         Component: Images
        AssignedTo: webkit-unassigned at lists.webkit.org
        ReportedBy: olivier at noma.fr

Hi

Only since Maverick, load of a page with some <img src=1.pdf> (1.pdf is a "one-page" pdf that safari/webkit display well with img tag) witch works well until 10.9 display a white space instead of the pdf page or sometime only some elements of the pdf, white space appears 10% of time and incomplete pdf is less (about 3%). If i reload the page, more image could be white, if i disable cache in dev menu, it works better but it arrives too (less).

For now, it works perfectly on iOS all versions

I don't know if pdf is officially supported by Webkit/Safari, it is very useful because there's no border or actions possible as with embed or object.

it's not supported by Chrome so it is not concerned.

Bug is identical in Safari and Webkit, the problem is only with Maverick.

In the attachment, you can see the end of image-pdf OK, a white one (space is ok) and an incomplete one (no text). there are 32 images in the exemple, if you reload the page, the same images stays white but if you empty the cache and reload, some appears but others disappears.

Just to know if hope is permitted for resolution of this bug :) Severity is major but perhaps only for me :)

Thx
