I added -frename-registers to the build CFLAGS and CXXFLAGS.  I get the exact same message as in my initial report:

./Source/WTF/wtf/Atomics.h: Assembler messages:
./Source/WTF/wtf/Atomics.h:300: Error: bad register name `%sil'
