Ah, that's the problem. libtiff5-dev is available from 12.10.
And you have to install GCC 4.7 too, because the original 4.6
in 12.04 isn't enough to build WebKit.

I suggest you should use Ubuntu 12.10 or newer. Otherwise
you have to solve problems like you mentioned.
