Summary: Scaling issues w/ .png embedded in SVG
           Product: WebKit
           Version: 528+ (Nightly build)
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Windows 7
            Status: NEW
          Severity: Normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: SVG
        AssignedTo: webkit-unassigned at lists.webkit.org
        ReportedBy: epimetreus at hotmail.com
                CC: zimmermann at kde.org

I built a tree with D3 where the nodes are png files with a transparent background; most of them look okay in Safari, but the monochromatic ones (white and very pale grey) have some bizarre rendering issues--in particular, they have a blocky black partial outline (like a drop shadow, almost) when zoomed out with scale(), and at certain scales the lines connecting the nodes bleed through the images & the images appear washed out. The other icons (exactly the same, except coloured, instead of monochrome) all display correctly.

5.1.7 on Windows 7; Chrome/IE/FF all display correctly.
