This is true. EVERY site  that has a large background pic, or a large animated banner makes the font render thinner.
THIS IS THE 4th example.

THIS IS A GENERAL RENDERING PROBLEM WHEN A PAGE HAS LARGE BACKGROUND PICS OR BANNERS.
