Go to

and try to scroll by dragging the background.

It is too slow to be useful with Qt WebKit (tried both the version included with Qt 5.1.1 and QtWebKit 2.3.2 for Qt4).

The other WebKit frontends (e.g. Chrome) are fine (and actually recommended by the website's developers). I presume the Qt layer misses an opportunity to cache rendered data.
