OK, marking INVALID if this no longer reproduces for you. Chances are that this was a random Speed Download crash, not something caused by a change in WebKit.

We try very hard to not discuss multiple issues in one bug, as this tends to cause a lot of confusion for everyone involved.

That said, what you describe sounds like <https://bugs.webkit.org/show_bug.cgi?id=23364>. It is known that more websites fall into this optimized code path in newer WebKit versions.

Please file a new bug if you have additional input about the font rendering issue.
