We have the same problem here. After a few hours of loadind random sites the memory consumption increased by 360 MByte. Even after deleting the QWebView the memory is not freed. Accoring to our memory leaks detector about 70 MByte are real memory leaks. The rest is only freed on the termination of the program. 

I'm totally clueless about how to deal with this problem.

We have these issues with Qt 4.7.3 and Qt 4.8.4.
